The Energy-Efficient loan scheme from the Carbon Trust enables organisations to replace their old gas-guzzling items of equipment with state of the art energy efficient kitchen suites.

By utilising the Carbon Trust loan initaitive Bar Zigfrid is set to achieve energy savings on prime cooking equipment of over £5,000 per year. Not only that but the energy savings achieved by replacing Zigfrid's old prime cooking equipment with energy efficient models has allowed them to update their refrigeration equipment as well. The total value of the Carbon Trust loan being £23,000.

Amongst the new equipment installed, Bar Zigfrid will benefit from the introduction of two Williams Gastronorm counters, one undercounter freezer, one undercounter refrigerator, three two door bottle coolers and two three door bottle coolers.
